It targeted middle school students from low-income and disadvantaged communities, aiming to introduce them to sustainability and clean energy careers. The Green Leader Summit included booths, speakers, workshops, activities, and discussions on energy sector careers. This exposed them to careers they might not have otherwise come across. This also allowed them to get some knowledge on the clean energy and sustainability industry.

During the event, DTD distributed over 750 swag bags with program resources, including the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). We were able to reach 1,800 students from 100 to 150 classrooms in Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). These classrooms are located all thru Los Angeles in the disadvantaged, low-income, and hard-to-reach areas.
